Dry Eye Test
Your initial dry eye test will determine the nature of your dry eyes. The Dry Eye Test is a one-hour assessment whereby the Optometrists conducts several tests to accurately diagnose your dry eyes.
Our Dry Eye test involves
- A quantitative assessment and digital record (including images and video) of your tear film break up time
- Meibomian gland quality test
- Eye redness and lipid quality test
- Slit lamp examination to assess the health of the outer and inner eye.
The Optometrists must be notified of any health history/ medications that you’re taking before the dry eye examination. It is recommended, but not mandatory to organise a referral with this information from your GP or Specialist.
Our Dry Eye team members are happy to organise this on your behalf if you would like assistance.
